About TENH100
TENH100 is a Cambodian e-commerce marketplace connecting merchants to customers for goods and services. We are in our early stages, based in Phnom Penh, and building the platform from the ground up.
The Role
As an early-stage startup, there is minimal marketing team or established processes. The person in this role will be expected to build these from the ground up. Responsibilities will frequently extend beyond traditional marketing, including supporting merchant onboarding, assisting with partnerships, and handling operational tasks as needed.
This position requires someone who is fresh, creative, and comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to shifting priorities, and willing to take on whatever the business needs to move forward. Do not apply if you cannot work in unstructured and fast-changing SOPs.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute marketing campaigns across all social media platforms for merchant and customer acquisition.
- Build, manage, and follow up on the content calendar.
- Track campaign performance using analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, or similar, and generate reports with clear takeaways.
- Write copy for ads, social posts, and promotional materials in both English and Khmer.
- Coordinate with graphic designers.
- Identify and test new channels or tactics such as TikTok, influencer partnerships, and local community groups, then report back on what is worth doubling down on.
- Manage ad budgets and optimize spend based on performance data.
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in both English and Khmer, written and spoken. You'll create content in both languages daily.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in marketing or a related role. You've actually run campaigns before, not just studied them.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting data.
- Familiarity with at least one analytics or ads platform such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, or TikTok Ads.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and mess. Processes don't exist yet. You'll help create them. Things will break, priorities will shift mid-week, and sometimes the answer is "figure it out".
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing a marketplace, e-commerce platform, or similar two-sided business.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms beyond the basics, including email marketing, SEO, and A/B testing.
- Graphic design skills.
- Previous startup experience. You know what "early stage" actually means and you're not scared of it.
